Summer 2008 blockbuster

Every summer, Hollywood can be dissolved with all the good things that affect people all year round. For months they have been taken around the trailer and watch you crawl up a level of excitement and anticipation as that have not been since last summer.

Somehow I was pleased this summer when the promise to see us, "Speed Racer" and my childhood hero, Indiana Jones on screen is one of three things that really attracts me is out of my house (fireand the next Dresden Files book are the others). I'm sorry, Speed Racer, and missed the eyelids, and it's going to be hot outside my house with air conditioning to see Indy. This is what it is for HBO. And believe me, as a ring and play a movie to death, is more than ample opportunity to see them both. Twice.

But this year, Hollywood thinks that I was in a serious car accident and now have to eat mashed potatoes mixed with a straw, while the high drama and tension ofWonder Pets on Nick Jr.

There was a Hulk movie, but only a few years? I remember the giant Hulk statue of Madame Tussaud's and a picture of my man next to him. And correct me if I'm wrong here, or offline, but does not suck so bad that we all leave the theater burns with a severe case of wind?

I can not remember who the big villain in this film, the thought of authors and producers, we wanted to see Hulk smash oh, wait aMinute, I remember. It 'was a dog. That's right, it injects not one, not two, but three dogs with the juice of green and put it in Hulk. They were pretty average and large dogs, they bark long before Juiced by Nick Nolte. Hahaha! OMG this movie was terrible. No, really, that was it. If I see a guy who slaps around a dog, and I can save just one dog, Animal Planet presents.

And not for nothing the Hulk as a character was absolutely incredible. I do not thinkmeans to act, because lets face it, Lou Ferrigno will always be their role. I'm talking about the terrible animation. It 'was like some guys who fell on a laptop from DeVry defeated by a few high school in the Midwest. How difficult could it be decent entertainment? Long ago, when Jurassic Park came around the world thought they were looking at dinosaurs, and that was with what we now consider old, known as "cheap" special effects.

This was part ofFilm, I think it was about an hour and a half long, in which the Hulk was in a secret military base in Utah and then just started running and jumping and destroying. Destroyed tanks and planes and bombs and made their beds and jump on school buses. Then he saw the love interest, Betty, and calmed down and the finished film. It 'was just before the part where he beat three dogs. Previously, in the opening credits.

So now this new Hulk movie is out, and everyone ishow big it is going to be. Hello! The Hulk movie is not really about the Hulk. It 's just a really cheap audience for the film of the Avengers, who are expected to prep a few years.

Who else is sick and tired of people saying "Oh, it's only love Ed Norton?" Um, the guy from the Honeymooners? This was my first reaction. I had no idea who he was. Apparently, he was the guy in front of Brad Pitt in Fight Club The irony is that the poster of the movie Fight Club is aSoap and Brad Pitt looked like it had to be taken with a pressure washer. I know that is not what the soap "represented" but Brad seemed really dirty. Mmmmm.

Ed Norton. Indeed. Because it gets its name because if you choose all the names that have ever been or could be made. At least use some as sexy or talented guy! Or even a page from the book Marilynn Manson, for Pete's sake combine two names very well in a celebrity regular original. If I ever growa Hollywood movie star you can bet that I will call Rosie O'Donnel or Godzilla. But Rosie Rodan, who has promised.

I also really wanted to see the new Batman movie Dark Knight, but too bad Heath Ledger had to die and go. I cried when I heard. I will miss, but hey, it was so totally gonna rock this movie. Bale was to be Justin's Big Break, he was no longer "the guy from American Psycho," but the Batman! Unfortunately, one of the first reviews and newsArticles and sneak peak months and on-line Flamer, talk of a posthumous Oscar, the latest reviews and the latest commercials ... I am the president of it is already, and the film is still a month away from release. Makes me want to see that Dragon Ball movie coming next year. James Marsters is going to play the role of Piccolo. Does anyone just feel that breeze?

But here is the worst insult of all. Someone was M. Another Night Shyamalan film. people bad, bad! When IGonna Learn? All his films, everyone, always latest single - have a final touch that Stevie Wonder can see that coming. The stories are at best "ok", at least three characters to everything they say, and not a single movie I've ever had the whisper would be worth the gas to drive to the theater. They do not believe me, that's what the critics say of his new film are - is rated "R". Oooooo. This is the best so far. An "R" rating. So what. Want to impress me? How about thisFilm lick a sense! Keep me in my place, at least keep me awake.

I can not control everything, spoiler alert - and I use the "spoiler", a word very, very loose.

Here's the thing, when the trees have never been, a kind of chemical warfare that identified and killed people to develop:

1. NY City would be the safest place you could be and not when the film takes place. The Sahara is the second safest place to be. The AmazonBasin and Yellowstone National Park would be the extermination camps, not Manhattan. 2. Perhaps a plant or even to hell Let's Go Crazy, all the plant species could develop this power, but all plants around the world at once, not without success. The animation of the Hulk is more credible.

So what we have learned about the Hollywood-blockbuster movie? With the price of gas and heat, are advising that everyone Netflicks and allow you to start the download. You can download it from thisUse your safe zone climate control, pause the movie, the toilet, and enjoy a snack not to sell a kidney had been able to afford on E-Bay. That's what I plan to. Provided, of course none of my house is on fire, while the next book I'm reading the Dresden Files. I can not wait to get Book 11 hits the shelves!

Orlando Off The Beaten Path: The serenity of Historic Bok Sanctuary and Pinewood Summer

The Historic Bok Sanctuary is located about an hour southwest of Orlando near Lake Wales, also home to the Florida's Natural Visitor Center that I visited earlier in the day. The sanctuary was founded by Edward W. Bok, who immigrated to America in 1869 from the Netherlands when he was 6 years. With determination and hard work, was a successful publisher and editor of Ladies' Home Journal, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, respected humanitarian and a world championPeace and the environment.

I have always been stories of industry magnates and successful entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and their products have fascinated the public. Edward W. Bok is definitely one of these fascinating people.

As a successful publisher, Edward Bok used, a resident of Pennsylvania to Florida in winter retreat, and was enchanted by the beauty and views from Iron Mountain, which at 298 meters above sea level, the highest point isFlorida peninsula. Struck by the quiet of the area, wanted a place that "touch the soul created by her beauty and tranquility," and he bought the land, which he transforms designed in a wide area with lush gardens, the famous landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead Jr. The bird sanctuary houses 126 different species of birds and a variety of plants and animals threatened with extinction.

The crown jewel of the Historic Bok Estate is the Carillon and Bell Tower, aNational Historic Landmark was built by the finest craftsmen of the day. The magnificent neo-Gothic and Art Deco tower was built using a combination of coquina rock from St. Augustine, Florida, and pink and gray marble from Tate, Georgia. New York sculptor Lee Lawrie sculptures adorn the tower and provide images of native Florida flora and faun as well as images from Greek myhthology and the Bible.

Edward Bok remembered the music of the chimes of his childhood in Holland and commissioned the famous bell foundry company John Taylor of England to a world-class carillon for his "Singing Tower" to create a focal point of the garden. The carillon is one of only four in Florida and its 60 bells weigh between 16 pounds to nearly 12 tons. Brief recorded carillon music is played every 30 minutes, whereas they are present every day at 1 and 3 clock. Duringmy visit I was able to catch the 1:00 performance, and just outside the Tower Carillon is a screen that a live broadcast of the show chime.

Another National Historic Landmark, Pinewood Estate, Historic Bok Sanctuary, a part of since 1970. And 'one of the best examples of Mediterranean Revival architecture of the State of Florida. The grounds were surrounded also designed by Frederick Law Olmstead Jr.

Originally called "ElRetiro ", meaning" withdrawal "in Spanish, the property was built in the early 1930s for Charles Austin Buck, a vice president of Bethlehem Steel. He had a good fortune in the steel industry and wanted a country estate where he could be surrounded in Winter built by his nine children and 18 grandchildren during the holidays.

The Mediterranean garden has a fountain, a frog leads Spanish guests in an enchanting stone grotto at the front of the house. A moon gate is located far easternthe dining room and veranda reflected in the style English Country Garden with a rolling lawn and pond in the afternoon sunsets.

Charles Austin Buck was a great admirer of the Latin lifestyle and architecture, his "El Retiro" Mediterranean revival home has many characteristics of an ancient Spanish city, wrought iron including a barrel-tile roof, thick walls , carved doors, and joinery Substantial, detailed and complex. The dramatic lobby level offers a different model tileseach riser. Colorful Spanish-style tiles were handmade in Tunisia and most of the original furnishings were produced in Cuba by hand.

From 25 November to 1 January 2006, at Pinewood Christmas Home Tour is available for visitors as a holiday tradition. During my visit I had the pleasure of visiting the villa as each room was decorated with a variety of designers locally sponsored. Each room features teacher, having the ability to give an overview of the unique history, has been fittedand furniture from every room. Surprisingly most of the furnishings and artwork are original to the property.

After visiting Pinewood Estate and the historic Carillon Tower I had the chance to explore the reasons for this amazing sanctuary, and landscaped gardens offer a haven really wonderful in nature.

The Pine Ridge Trail is to experience a unique nature, offers an overview of flora and delicate ecosystem of Florida's Lake Wales Ridge. In ancient times, whenSea levels were, Lake Wales Ridge was above water and formed a chain of islands. As a result, many plants and animals unique Ridge where rare plant species is found nowhere else in the world. Thirteen species are at risk here is the list at the federal level. Many of these plants in the sanctuary's Garden Plant Endangerd grown.

For me the Historic Bok Sanctuary was a feast for the senses, and will architecure and music lovers, history inspireEnthusiasts and nature lovers.
