Types of Names - Types of Names

Nouns are the words we use to name things.
There are five types of nouns: common, right, concrete, abstract and collective.

Genus name
A generic name is a commodity.
It 's the name of a generic element: chair, fish, cement, clouds, tree, nails, screwdriver, pencil, coffee, arms, hair, kangaroo, table, wall or a finger. And 'everything and nothing.

Proper Names
This is the exact opposite of a commonNoun. Proper names refer to all things that are unique. Must make its own identity.
All proper nouns begin with capitals: London (City), Napoleon Bonaparte - (a historical figure), Amazonas (IWT), Avatar (film), McDonald's (restaurant), The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (book ) and Sydney Harbour Bridge (a landmark).

Concrete
A concrete noun is anything that can be perceived by ourSensi. We can see, hear, smell, taste or touch.
We are able to perceive, clouds, flowers, soil, water, music, talk, laugh, smoke, perfume, smell, sugar, salt, vanilla, velvet, silk and bricks.

Abstract nouns
An abstract noun is a condition, a quality or feeling that can not be perceived by the senses.
Our five senses can not perceive the happiness, jealousy, beauty, trust, loyalty, betrayal and love.

CollectiveNames
A term used to describe a group of objects.
For example, a herd of cows, an ant colony, a school of fish, a flock of seagulls, a pack of rats and a horde of zombies.
